I've been surprised to actually see what appears to be bottles of pre-mixed red bull and vodka. lol!

We tried Kriek when we were in Brussels, and while the unique manner in which we tried it made it seem good, in retrospect it was not unlike carbonated cough syrup.

Zima...now THERE'S something I'd completely forgotten about.

I have to agree with CanadianSwiss, I have a pal in Belgium who introduced me to Kriek and it's good. I also am partial to Sol, the tequila-flavored beer. But when I took a tour of the Anheuser-Busch brewery in, I think it was New Hampshire, they let us try some "trial" beers they were getting ready for market, and they were fruit-flavored and disgusting. Think beer mixed with wine cooler. Ick.

That sounds horrible! Why not just get another alco-pop?

I must say there is one that I quite like on very hot summer days, though. It's called Kriek, a Belgian cherry beer. Ever try it? The nice thing about it is that it has a slight sweet, but also very tangy taste, so don't expect a "real" beer.

Sara, I had completely managed to forget about the Chamonix green beer... but come on, it was green! How could I resist something like that? But really, this time I've learned.
