Beautiful photos. I visited Yellowstone during the beginning of summer but I'd heard it was stunning during the winter and now you've shown me why.

Thanks you guys for the well wishes and compliments on the photos. It's one of those places that makes it easy to take good photos - so gorgeous! There are a couple extra pics on my Flickr, if you're interested (link in sidebar).

Tanya, I totally know what you mean. The Swiss Alps are so beautiful it makes me forget that any other beautiful places exist. But they do! :)

Hi Chris - Small world! Thanks for your kind offer. We had a fabulous time in Yellowstone, and drove through to Cook City one day (had lunch with the snowmobilers). We saw many wolves on the way.

I'm guessing your wife went to Bozeman, since they have an exchange program with Halle (I usually got to know the exchange students when I was teaching there, and I helped choose the German students who came to study here). What did you (and she) think of Halle?

We spent yesterday in Bozeman visiting a friend. Adorable town! Today we're in Billings, and tomorrow I think we're headed to Red Lodge to do some skiing. I'm definitely having a blast in Montana. :)
