More honking*…

That would be for Turkey’s victory over Switzerland this evening. Sadly, host Switzerland has made a quick exit from the Euro Cup after losing its first two games. But I am happy that Turkey has a chance to continue on. Germany has such a large Turkish population that Turkey feels like a second home team.

    G in Berlin was just reporting the same thing! Here I sit in the country and it is so so quiet. I almost wish I could here the party going on!

    There is definitely no honking going on here. Just quiet, clean, and safe.

    We listened for honking last night since we have a fairly large Turkish community in our little town but they must all have been somewhere else. I guess there will be much more noise tonight if ‘Schland (as they are now calling it according to my kids) wins.

    Diane and Christina – so sorry you are missing out on the honking! Surely you’ll hear a bit of it tonight, at least…

    TBF – whew! Glad to hear Switzerland hasn’t gone all crazy what with the big soccer tournament and all. Must maintain the clean and safe above all else!
