We got so lucky for the 4th. Lots of thunderstorms before and after, but perfect weather for our BBQ. Hope your weekend is looking up, too.

Expat Traveler - good luck for your run! I'm jealous of your mild weather - it's getting hot and humid here this week.

Bonnie - I used to write for a food blog where I'd post recipes, but I've never done it here. I could slap together some zucchini flower cooking instructions, though - maybe this week. Don't drool on the computer. :)

Do you ever post recipes? I had somewhere heard you could eat the zucchini with their flowers, but I'd never seen it done. I wanted to take a bite and investigate. Damn computer screen, always in the way.

I'm curious to know how the rest of Germany is fairing rain wise. The weather has been incredible over on the other side of the pond, not hot or cold.

The t-shirt looks like a great prize for running. I do a 10k soon for Canaada Day.
