On the more remote sections of the Trans-Canada highway the road is littered with "trucker bombs" – water bottles filled with a golden fluid. I know a cyclist who pedalled that route who lived in terror of being schmucked by one at 100 km/h.
I don't appreciate the littering, but you have to admire the coordination required to manipulate the relevant equipment while driving.

i can think of some long long roads with long long views and no toilets for miles when i would of liked to have had a couple of those bags in the car….
