It’s here!

I was starting to think election day would never come.

If you need me, I’ll be here flipping between N24, N-TV, and CNN. And this evening, I’ll be here, partying with Democrats Abroad Munich. Hopefully we’ll get some meaningful news starting around 1am (and hopefully I’ll still be away by then).

Have you voted yet? How were the lines?

  1. I voted two weeks ago by mail. So it’s just a matter of seeing how our country folk do now.
I watch CNN and BBC here, CNN and local news in the US and if I could put it by IV into my arm I might.

  2. Wish we had BBC! I’ve seen everything the other channels have to offer at this point – they’re all repeating stories.

  3. We went at 8 am. There were lots of folks around, but no lines and people were moving through quickly.

I love/hate this point. I woke up all excited to vote and now I need to sit around and hope that everyone else chose correctly. 😉

  4. Got to the polls when they opened. They open at 7am in Wisconsin. I had to wait about 5 minutes but then again I live in a small town. I am so ready for change!

  5. I waited an hour and a half to vote today (South Carolina) – it always surprises me that the lines to vote for a presidential election are so long – but any other election/vote in the next 4 years will have NO ONE there…. (well, at least it looks that way when I go to vote….)
but the wait went quickly – I brought a book of puzzles and the kids brought their gameboys… and there were a couple of ladies passing out free granola bars and water 🙂

  6. The lines seemed long in this little Montana city at 11am. I was surprised and pleased to see such a turnout, this was the most crowded I have ever seen the polling place here in town.

I sure hope they want change as much as I do!!!!!
